Last week, Liina Rae and Cathy Keenan from the BiOrbic Ops team went to Bologna as part of the CAPBIO4GB project.
The CAPBIO4GB twinning project aims to develop bioeconomy research and innovation strategy and enhance excellence at Agricultural University of Plovdiv. Within the project, advanced universities share research and education practices in circular agriculture and bioeconomy with AUP through a series of online seminars, joint reports and more recently in-person visits to research facilities.
A big thank you from the BiOrbic team to the project partners, especially the team at the University of Bologna (including Prof Andrea Monti, Prof Walter Zegada Lizarazu, Prof Davide Viaggi etc), for a fruitful and inspiring visit Bologna. The visit to Caviro Extra was a particular highlight with impressive entrepreneurship, foresight in sustainability and adaptability on display.
