Raphaël has interest in the development of a “greener” society, based on a better use of our current resources and technology. He hopes that his career will lead him towards being part of the required societal behaviour transformation and technological advancements. His skills include basic chemistry and advanced material sciences (characterization/synthesis/properties), for the latter he is especially informed on “Large scale facilities” (Synchrotrons/Neutron Sources). His latest project involved an internship in ALBA for catalyst characterization using GISAXS, while his current Ph.D. project focus on the upgrade of lignin through heterogeneous catalysis.
