Nima Nejadrezaei is a PhD student at the University College Dublin (UCD) Department of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, and Ireland’s national bioeconomy research centre (BiOrbic), studying consumer behaviour of bio-based products.
Based on his educational background and work experiences in the fields of Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Management, Nima has a background in socio-economics research with an emphasis on consumer behaviour, innovation adoption, rural development, and sustainability. Furthermore, studying Urban Agriculture and Green Cities, beyond the urban and pre-urban food chain gave him a broad outlook toward the importance of urban ecology with a full glimpse into biodiversity enhancement. Nima is interested in quantitative and qualitative research methods. He is familiar with statistical software including Smart PLS, IBM SPSS, LISREL, TOPSIS.
His current research explores consumers' attitudes, awareness, and perceptions of bio-based products. Studying factors affecting consumers' consumption behaviour of bio-based products, and also, to investigate the most important/effective marketing tools cultivating bio-based product consumption.
