Small Mammals

Small mammals are actually one of the most environmentally friendly pets! The fact they eat plants, don’t hunt and are very clean means they have a low carbon footprint.

However that doesn’t mean there aren’t things you can do. Instead of buying new cages and accessories, try finding second hand ones – they’ll be cheaper! 

You should also use eco-friendly bedding and litter such as shredded cardboard, toilet paper and straw.
