Shauna completed a BSc in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dublin City University, and began working within the pharmaceutical and research industries. During the pandemic, Shauna realised the importance of science communication and completed a Masters degree in Science and Health Communications from Dublin City University, leading her to work as a Project Officer in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
