Amanda is the Head of Public Engagement, Education and Communications at BiOrbic. She is responsible for engaging external groups with the centre’s research.

Amanda has a strong background in designing and delivering various engagement activities that combine STEM and the Arts (STEAM). In the past she has worked on large science festivals and has coordinated smaller activities such as STEM Escape Rooms and STEAM workshops in schools. She is the coordinator of STEAM Summer School, an annual international training programme in science communication, targeted to researchers.

Amanda has also previously worked as a freelance graphic designer, videographer and animator for various clients including the NHS.
