On Wednesday 4th September, Farm Zero C will once again open its doors to the public to reveal the progress it is making towards being the world’s first carbon neutral dairy farm. Visitors will be able to tour the farm and will hear updates from the project’s experts about the farm’s performance, carbon footprint reduction, methane emissions reduction, soil health, biodiversity, and grass biorefining.
At the end of the tour there will also be a small fair with various stands related to the latest research and innovation in farming. We welcome farmers, policymakers, media and more to attend at Shinagh Estates in Bandon, County Cork.
To get a taste of what the event might look like, you can read about the last open day which was hosted in 2022. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you down on the farm in September.
