Mina is a PhD student at the Department of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, UCD. She has an educational background in the fields of Agricultural Economics (BSc), Agricultural Management (MSc), and Urban Agriculture and Green Cities (MSc II). Her fields of interest are sustainable livelihood, innovation acceptance, food systems, and agricultural extension. Mina’s expertise lies in socio economics research, designing methodology and analysing data by employing statistical software such as IBM SPSS, Smart PLS etc. She worked as a researcher and data analyst at API and Young Researchers and Elite Club in Iran. Before joining UCD, she was working on the Land systems transition short-term modelled validation within the Mediterranean Basin; developed in the DIVERCROP research project funded by the ARIMNet2, hosted by INRAE and UniLaSalle, France. Her PhD studies focus on social acceptance of bioeconomy in Ireland and its effective factors. Moreover, she is working on the public understanding of bioeconomy, investigating the obstacles and drivers of transferring the biobased innovation to society, and presenting a framework to implement the bioeconomy in Ireland.
