In 2021, the BiOrbic funding team joined forces with two other SFI Research Centres, I-Form and iCRAG, to develop a research funding training programme entitled, ‘Guide to Research Funding: From a SFI Centre Perspective’. This programme is a joint collaborative undertaking between BiOrbic, I-Form and iCRAG.
All three centres have come together to develop a collaborative programme of training events for their researchers. Training has and will continue to be provided by the Centres’ funding managers along with external speakers and successful awardees. Seven events have taken place since the establishment of this programme in November 2021.
