Patricie is a PhD student in Biotechnology at UCD. She received her MSc degree in General and Applied Biochemistry at The University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. She conducted her master project at The University of Tromsø where she worked on recombinant production of antimicrobial peptides isolated from the Arctic.
Currently she is pursuing her PhD in Dr Cormac Murphy group. Her project involves application of the fungus Cunninghamella in phosphate recycling and bioremediation.
