Grace is the Graduate Research and Training Coordinator for the centre. Her background is in the field of Marine Biology, holding a BSc and MSc from Bangor University in Wales, and a PhD in Environmental Marine Biology from University of Manchester, UK. Grace’s research primarily focused on the effect of climate change on the ecology and physiology of marine organisms, and how this impacts whole marine ecosystems.
Along with her own research experience, Grace’s previous roles have included Research Assistant, and Lab Manager for NYU in Abu Dhabi, where she gained extensive experience in the management of multiple research projects, scientific communication and publication, as well as various outreach activities. Her primary passion of working alongside students and researchers was cemented through her numerous supervisory and mentoring roles, and she is excited to bring her diverse set of skills and experiences to her role in BiOrbic, in order to empower the next generation of Bioeconomy leaders.
