BiOrbic is committed to upholding the highest standards of equality, diversity and inclusion.

  • Our EDI training program offers a variety of sessions and workshops throughout the year (e.g. Gender in research, Unconscious bias, Women in leadership, Navigating a career in STEM as LGBTQIA+ scientist)
  • We have a dedicated EDI committee comprising of representatives form various institutions and from various career levels
  • EDI is a standing item on the BiOrbic Executive Committee and Governance Board meetings, attended by a representative of the EDI committee
  • We ensure formalised key leadership roles for women within our Centre Governance Committees
