Cathy is the BiOrbic Operations and Talent4BBI MSCA COFUND Project Manager. Cathy supports the centres in all key operational areas and manages all of the milestones and deliverables for MSCA COFUND Talent4BBI programme.
She joined the Centre in February 2019. Prior to this, she was the Projects Coordinator at the UCD Energy Institute. Other previous roles include Operations Manager with the SFI iCRAG Research Centre; Project Manager for UCD’s Connected health centre, ARCH; Project Manager for STEM Festival ‘Tech Week’; and various roles in industry across both the sports and the telecoms sector. Cathy also worked as a City Operations Manager at the London 2012 Olympic Games!
She completed a Masters in Project Management at the Smurfit Business School in 2020 and has been a team leader with UCD Volunteer Overseas programme in Tanzania in 2017 leading a team of undergraduate volunteers on the Computers in Education project. In 2018 she was Captain and PRO of UCD Staff Golf Society ad remains an active member
