Solution focused collaborative projects

BiOrbic is Ireland’s national bioeconomy research centre, supported by Research Ireland. Our vision is for the bioeconomy to become a cornerstone of national and global economies, fostering sustainable regeneration, resilience and a just future, supporting the planet, communities and industries to thrive.

For collaborative industry research projects, the costs are shared. Projects are structured in a co-funded model saving up to 50% on industry costs.

Project duration can be from 10 months to 4 years, with 12 – 18 months being common for projects with a postdoctoral researcher, and 4 years common for projects with a PhD researcher.
