Cultivating Consumption of Bio-Based Products
This study will undertake consumer research to enable strategic marketing decisions by companies and organisations who are interested in bio-based products, e.g. market diversification, new product development, communications and brand development. The feedstocks, technologies and products being developed by other researchers within BiOrbic may provide useful context/case studies for such research.

BiOrbic Graduate Research and Training Coordinator, UCD School of Chemistry, Temporary 4 year post
Applications are invited for the temporary post of Graduate Research and Training Coordinator within the BiOrbic Bioeconomy Research Centre. The successful candidate will work to ensure the smooth implementation of a training and skills development programme for the next generation of bioeconomy leaders. This role is student-facing and will involve a high level of support for the Centre’s students who are funded by Science Foundation Ireland and other national and international funding agencies. The post holder will coordinate BiOrbic’s training activities for the Centre’s 50+ graduate research students.
